We no longer meet as a group.
Our group is no longer meeting.
If you wish to have individual conversations about the Dharma consider contacting Katsuryu Bill Cooper.
Bill has taught Buddhist meditation in Bellevue for over 13 years. He has a long history of Zen practice beginning with Soyu Matsuoka Roshi at the Soto Zen Temple of Long Beach in 1981.
Bill (or his dharma name"Katsuryu" Living Dragon), is an active member of the Silent Thunder Order for over six years, and he abides by their code of ethics. He regularly sits with Mission Mountain Zen with Zenku Smyers Sensei and Sangha. Bill was ordained "shukke tokudo" by Sensei Smyers in May 2025.
Bill's approach to Zen is supportive and patient. If you feel a pull towards learning more about Zen practice please contact:
The custom of Dana is encouraged as part of our Buddhist relationship. Dana is the Pali word for generosity, a foundational practice of Buddhism, as well as valuable support for the teacher. Please consider a reasonable amount. I do appreciate your generostiy.
